Day 11 - A show that disappointed you:

Veronica Mars

I adored the first two seasons of Veronica Mars, but the third season was awful. I was so disappointed in the direction the show was taking that I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch the last few episodes of the series.

There are other shows that have disappointed me over the years, of course (the final season of The X-Files anyone?), but Veronica Mars is the one that sticks out in my mind.

It still makes me sad when I think of how brilliant S1 was.

I've had a flu-like virus for the last few days. It's really knocked me for six. I seem to be getting worse every day, instead of better. As a result I've had some time on my hands, so I've been catching up on some TV watching.

Thanks to my good friend siklilgrl, I've now seen the first eleven episodes of Veronica Mars. I'll be watching the second half of the season over the next few days. I have to say...I love this show! I'm not going to compare it to BtVS, as I think it's a very different show, but I will say this - I doubt that I will ever love another show as much as I love BtVS and AtS, and I can't ever see me loving another character as much as I love Spike. They will always hold a special place in my heart, and I'm not planning on letting go of this fandom any time soon...but it's so nice to have a new show (or shows) to feel passionate about. :)
