OK peeps, question of the week:
What are your top 5 shows (in order) that you're watching right now? They have to be shows that are currently airing new eps (where you live).
I've been wondering for a while where everyone is TV wise these days. I guess just because we became a community(family) over Buffy & Angel. Now that we no longer have them, I'd like to hear what's good, what holds us together (for TV chatting), and what I might be missing. Now, I don't want to know what you think are the best "quality" shows, I want to know what you enjoy the most. Like, I love Charmed, but I know it's really a crap show quality wise.
I know my f-list is small, so pass it on if you can... I'm a curious girl. :)
Okay, here are mine:
1. Veronica Mars
2. Grey's Anatomy
3. Lost
4. Nip/Tuck
5. Without A Trace
If they were airing here at the moment House and Doctor Who would definitely be up there, too. I adore both of those shows! Really looking forward to the Children in Need Doctor Who mini-special that airs tomorrow night! :D
ETA: Oh...and I must admit I cheated a little. Veronica Mars isn't airing here at the moment, but as I AM watching S2 and it IS my favourite show of the moment, I had to put it at the top of the list. :)

3. Supernatural
4. Alias
5. LOST
Although, really, VM is head and shoulders above the rest of them. I could easily give up everything but VM and still be happy. :P

2) Veronica Mars
3) Lost
4) Weeds
5) Charmed
It's not really cheating... I only added that disclaimer so people weren't using OLD off the air shows, and to allow those of us who have different TV the opportunity to play along. Wouldn't want my UK peeps excluded because they haven't got the current season yet. ;)

Date: 2005-11-17 10:05 pm (UTC)Oh, I meant to say...I'm going to see Harry Potter on Saturday. When is it released for you? Can't wait to chat with you about it! *hugs*

Date: 2005-11-17 11:47 pm (UTC)OMG! HP comes out tomorow. I'm SO excited. I'm having some trouble with the friend units who all don't want me to go without them, but do not want to go this week-end, so I'm not exactly sure when I'm going to go. There's a midnight showing tonight... ;)
You'll be the first to know when I do see it.

Date: 2005-11-17 10:43 pm (UTC)I think Charmed is something I could become hooked on, despite the fact that I really wouldn't want to, just from having seen bits before VM was broadcast on Living.
As to what I'm watching at the moment, my only 'must see's' were House and VM, neither of which are showing at the moment, so not much really.
As they say in all the popular shows, in no particular order:
1 QI
2 X Factor
3 Rome
4 Little Britain (although I've not watched tonight's yet)
5 ????
Although the TV is usually on, not an awful lot grabs my attention. Still, Doctor Who to look forward to in the New Year, hopefully.

Date: 2005-11-17 10:52 pm (UTC)K absolutely adores Charmed! She never misses an episode.
I love X Factor! Mainly because it's a show we all sit down to watch together, which is a rarity in our house. Little Britain is great, but I'm not that worried if I miss an episode.
There's the Doctor Who Christmas special and then the new season starts a little later in the year, I think. Definitely something to look forward to! :D

Date: 2005-11-21 03:01 pm (UTC)No I haven't, but it is one of those shows I wish I had started watching, judging by everyone else's reaction (plus I love House and ER).
I watch the X Factor with the children, and it is one of the few programmes that we can all enjoy together. All they want is for Chico to win, and they love chanting 'It's Chico time'.

Dr. Who?

Luv your new JM banner. Yummy... oh, and I'm thinking of taking your story into the realm of submissions.... :)
Re: Dr. Who?
Date: 2005-11-26 11:12 pm (UTC)The Dr Who special was part of the annual Children in Need charity event on the BBC. It continued from where the finale of the last series ended, introducing David Tennant as the new Doctor. It was only on for around three minutes or so, but it was very good! I know it was available to watch on the BBC website, but I've a feeling they've taken it down now. I'm sure it must be available for download somewhere. I'll look out for it and let you know if I have any luck! :)
It's a gorgeous banner, isn't it? Made for me by the very talented
That's wonderful news about our story! I wish you all the luck in the world with it. Is it available to read anywhere still? I'd love to read it. :)
I'll send you my email address...and a link for Dr Who if I find one. *hugs my long lost friend Mary* I really have missed you, you know!
*hugs you again*
Re: Dr. Who?
Date: 2005-11-26 11:18 pm (UTC)I need to dust off the story and query it out. I'm thinking of making it into a Harlequin (Miles & Boon) Blaze novel. After all "all characters are fictional....." ;) I will most definately keep you updated. I haven't written any more on it yet.
*hugs you and K*

Date: 2005-11-26 11:36 pm (UTC)Oh yes, definitely keep me updated! It's funny, but I was only thinking about you and "my" story the other day. I wondered if you'd got round to writing any more. I'm so glad you haven't forgotten it! *hugs*
